The performer tells the tale of Alexander Hart, a man who pursued the bizarre and took photos of strange apparitions. The magician displays a playing card sized photo of Hart. This photo is mixed into a packet of eight other playing cards that have duplicate floral patterns. All nine cards are then turned over to reveal various images of ghosts and spectral apparitions. A spectator is asked to choose one of the apparition cards, and the card is laid aside. The cards not chosen are turned over and they are the eight cards with the duplicate floral designs. When the apparition card chosen by the spectator is tuned over, it is eerie that it is the photo of Alexander Hart.
