This is a very old and yet a very good bit of comedy by-play that is great for any performer. The magician displays a letter-sized card that has the words "Applause Please" written on it. Of course the audience proceeds to clap their hands. The magician then turns the card over and it says "Thank you." Then without hesitation, the magician turns the card over again and it says "Both of You." This visual bit is funny, puzzling, and always gleans laughs from the audience.
