The magician displays a tall upright cabinet that is about 20 inches tall and 7-1/2 inches wide and deep. Through the open front, the audience can see a large square block. The block is pulled out of the box open top via a chain attached to the block and freely displayed. The block has a hole running through its sides, and the magician puts a wooden stake through the block to show how it goes through. The block is dropped back into the box, and the wooden stake is thrust through the sides of the box and block. The magician then grabs hold of the chain once again and pulls the block up and visibly right through the wooden stake! Additionally, the magician can also place wooden blades through the sides of the box, and the block can be lowered down through them as well. Invented by Daniel A. Brock, this is an astounding illusion that was manufactured by the now defunct MAK Magic company of Columbus, Ohio. This is a vintage "gently used" prop that overall is in very good condition. We give this one four out of five stars. This is a huge version of the classic “vampire block” illusion and is increasingly rare. Comes complete with MAK instructions, and the price includes shipping in the USA. 001RUMBROCKSBLOCK
