The magician borrows a quarter, has a spectator mark it with a pencil, and then positions it on the top opening of a soda bottle. The magician reminds the audience how impossible it is to push a push a coin through neck opening, but that’s exactly what happens. The coin can be shaken around inside the bottle. And then without hesitation, the coin is shaken right out through the narrow bottle opening once again. Other routines enable the magician to penetrate the coin through the bottom of the bottle.

The magician can also perform the Gene Gordon effect (as it appears in the BOBO MODERN COIN MAGIC book) where the performer apparently bites off a piece of the coin, apparently spits it out, and it mysteriously reappears back onto the coin.
