The magician displays a bottle, a glass, and two empty yellow powder coated tubes. The bottle is covered with one of the tubes and the glass is covered with the other tube. When the tubes are lifted, the bottle and glass have changed places. This trick continues for a couple more times, and each time the glass and bottle change places.
 
Of course the audience begins to suspect that two bottles are being used. The magician is then unaware when the magician’s assistant or stooge from the audience “sneaks” up and steals a bottle from one of the tubes. The magician then goes to perform the trick one more time, but of course hesitates, apparently realizing one of the bottles is missing. Suddenly however, the magician then continues with the trick with bottle and glass changing places each time! 
 
In lieu of the assistant or stooge from the audience stealing out the “extra” bottle, the magician can seemingly make a mistake when lifting the tubes and accidentally show two bottles. After his apology and “explanation,” the magician removes one of the bottles and then can continue on with the passe passe as described above.
 
This is a classic comedy magic effect that is very well made out of spun metal. The tubes and bottles look very realistic, and the comedy presentation is built into the routine.
