The magician displays a colorful cloth banner with wood dowel rods in opposite ends, kind of like a scroll. The banner is folded in half with the two rods held in one hand. The magician places a dove inside the folded banner. The banner is then popped open and and the dove apparently turns into silk that flys up into the air! And no, live animals are not required for this effect. Or it can be used to transform other non-animal objects to a silk hank or other object. It can also be used as a vanish only. A versatile effect that is fun to do!
