The Drawer Box is one of the oldest production props ever devised. It is a classic in magic and appears in the early editions of the Hoffman books. The magician shows a beautiful crafted wooden box. The box has a drawer that slides out the end and is shown to be absolutely empty. The box is closed and when reopened, the box is full of anything that will fit inside the box including silk handkerchiefs, ribbons, flowers, candy, a dove, or literally almost anything else. With inanimate objects, or special compressible production goods, the production can be very large. Likewise the box can be used in reverse to make objects disappear!
 
The box measures about 12.5″ x 8″ x 7″, with a load capacity of about 11″ x 6.5″ x 6″). The front of this box was hand carved out of select natural hardwoods.
