The magician displays a deck of cards. One or more cards are selected by a spectator and returned to the pack. One-by-one the cards mysteriously rise from the deck! This is one of the best versions of the rising card illusion in existence. And no, the magician doesn't even have to hold the pack. The cards can be placed in or leaned against a glass tumbler or other object, and yet the cards still rise! There are no external threads, loops, pulls, or other encumbrances.
