The magician displays a red tube-like box with an open top and bottom. Through the open front, the audience sees white jail bars. Through the bars, the audience sees a green round tube with a picture of the evil Fu Manchu (time to do some Google searching). The outer red box is lifted leaving the green tube resting on the small wooden base that proves there is nothing suspicious under the base.
The red box is shown completely empty through its open ends. The magician replaces the box down over the green tube, and then lifts the tube up out of the box. The audience can still clearly see the red box empty through the white jail cell bars. The green Fu Manchu metal tube is shown completely empty and placed back down into the box jail cell box. The magician then reaches into the box and tube and produces a wide array of production items including silk hanks, flowers, even a live dove or drinking glass full of liquid! In fact, anything that is about the size of the inner green tube can be produced.
This nicely made prop invented by the late Louis S. Histed measures about 9.25" tall and 5.25" x 5" square. It is very easy to do and is a great trick for the professional or beginner in magic. Remember, our price includes shipping in the USA! 0672RUMCHINAMYSTERY
