The magician displays two stalks of feather flowers. One stalk has three red flowers and the other stalk has yellow flowers. The magician screws the stalks together so that the three red flowers are on the bottom, and the three yellow flowers are on top. The magician simply passes his hand over the blooms until the flower colors are visibly transformed into an alternating red, yellow, red, yellow, red, yellow pattern! Or the magician can use alternating red and yellow silk hanks to hide the transformations.
