The magician displays a toy pistol, a replica of the famous 1914 German Mauser. A silk handkerchief is placed over the barrel of the gun. When the trigger is pulled, the hank disappears in a flash! This great vintage effect was manufactured in the 1950’s by Bev Taylor of Town House Magic after the company acquired the manufacturing from Joseph/Lloyd Chambers. This of course is a vintage piece of magic history. 
 
Note that this trick does not function as a firearm. It is only a theatrical prop. Also it was custom built for the effect rather than the effect being retrofitted from an existing toy gun. Made from cast aluminum, it is compact size, looks the part, is reliable, and easily resets without tools. We only have one available and it is in beautiful brand new condition.
