The magician displays his Apple smart phone and places it face-up on the floor. Slowly and eerily the phone turns over on its own!  The just as magically, the flashlight blinks on and off a couple of times. What the heck? But that’s not all! Suddenly the phone levitates up into the air and into the magician's hand!
 
João Miranda and his team have taken the concept of the Leviosa deck of cards and integrated it into what appears to be an ordinary smart phone. This is a deeply fooling and highly practical illusion that leaves spectators stunned. Everything is built into a realistic-looking phone that works in sync with a dedicated app from the magician’s real phone, which gives the performer the performer the ability to define settings and control every moment. 
 
The battery in the phone is charged via a standard USB-C port, and it charges the same way as a real phone. During the performance the magician secretly presses a button on the right side of the case, very similar to the same button that turns on a regular smart phone. The phone vibrates to alert that it is on. After that, it is just a matter of timing  for the phone to flip over, the flashlight to flash on and off a couple of times, and for the phone to float from the floor and up the magician’s hand.
