The Magic Coin Box is a classic magic effect that dates back to the 1940’s and the old SS Adams company. Over the years, many a magician cut their eye teeth on this great effect that simply put, if you don’t know, you are going to be fooled! This is a great mystery in magic  that is very nostalgic, fun, and easy to do!
 
The magician borrows a dime and has a spectator place some sort of identifying mark on the coin so that it can be proven that the coin is the same coin when the effect climaxes. The magician then makes the coin disappear with sleight of hand or favorite method. Next the magician puts into view a small white box with a black rabbit design. The box is rubber banded shut with multiple rubber bands crisscrossing the drawer type box. The rubber bands are removed and the box is opened. Inside is a second box about the size of an old wooden matchbox.
 
This box too has multiple rubber bands holding it shut. These bands are also removed, and the sliding drawer is slid open. Inside is yet another container,  this time a small bag, which is also rubber banded shut.
