A black metal can with white spots is presented to the audience. The magician removes two handkerchiefs, a white one and a black one. He puts the hanks back into the can, says the magic words, and declares that the hanks have changed color! He reaches into the can and declares that the black hank is now white and the white hank is now black! The audience laughs and groans! The hanks are put back into the can and suddenly the white spots on the outside of the can disappear. The hanks are removed once again from inside the can.
