The magician borrows a gentleman’s hat. The hat can be a western style hat, cap, or the like. The performer then talks about cooking some scrambled eggs and how the best eggs are cooked in a hat. With that, the performer displays a small aluminum bowl and then proceeds to add some salt into the bowl. Next the magician shows a clear drinking glass and cracks an egg into it. The egg is then poured out of the glass and into the hat. Salt from the bowl is then added to the mix in the hat. “Oh what a mess” says the performer. The magician picks up a napkin to wipe the edges of the hat. “This isn’t working at all” exclaims the magician. I think it would have been better to have cooked some sausages!” The magician reaches into the hat and produces a string of wiener sausages! The spectator's hat is returned and is completely unharmed.
This is but one routine the magician can perform with a borrowed hat, or perhaps a lady’s purse, handbag, or other similar object. The beautifully spun and deceptive aluminum bowl is the culprit that keeps the runny egg from ruining the hat. The outfit comes complete with pan, a very nice routine by the late Bruce Posgate, and suggested patter. Sausages not included. Now discontinued, we only have one of these left in stock. 001ROMOMELETTEPAN
