This is an illusion that has made magic history. Invented by Ormond McGill, this sensational is one to be remembered by any audience. Using either the magician's assistant or a member from the audience, the subject kneels on a prayer mat with head resting on the sacrificial altar, which is approximately 32 inches in height.

Two single metal tubes are shown. The tubes are open at each end and can nest one inside the other since one tube is slightly larger in diameter than the other. The larger outer tube has an open front. The larger tube is placed over the victim's head. The audience can clearly see the person's face through the opening. The second tube is then nested down into the larger tube, obscuring the victim's face.

Next a lighted torch is thrust into the tubes. A fire is started and real flames flicker out through the top of the tubes. It's an awe-inspiring sight! The flames subside and the outer cover is removed. The living head is no more. In its place is a grinning skull and the audience is spellbound!

Then in a flash, the  tubes are removed and the living head is restored. The victim bows to the applause of an audience that appreciates the illusion's cleverness, mystery, and deception. Imagine the publicity possibilities. SACRIFICIAL CREMATION can be done successfully in clubs, on small or large stages, and surrounded by spectators.
