There are various uses for this classic piece of magic apparatus. For one presentation, the magician displays an empty picture frame. The frame is covered with a silk handkerchief or similar covering. A spectator selects a card. The card vanishes via the magician’s favorite method and when the hank is removed from the picture frame, the card appears in the frame! The frame can be hinged open from the back, similar to a picture frame, and the card removed from the frame! 
 
The frame can also be used to make any other flat object that will fit in the frame appear or vanish. This could be a greeting card, money, a prediction, or even a photo such as, “Happy Birthday Julie!” The possibilities are endless and limited only to your imagination.
 
The exterior dimensions of the frame itself measures about 9 x 10-1/2 inches. The window portion of the frame measures about 4-1/2 x 6 inches. The trick is very easy to do, requires virtually no set-up, and is well made. Please note however that sometimes the manufacturer changes the black spot and arrow artwork on the frame.
