After the magician cuts a piece of rope exactly in half, one piece becomes longer than the other. How did that happen? The longer rope is then trimmed to make it even with the other rope. But now one of the ropes is still found to be longer. This comical byplay continues with one rope always being longer than the other rope untill finally the magician "gives-up" and just decides to restore the rope completely back together!
