The magician displays a nicely painted metal tube with two steel spikes sticking through it. The spikes are removed and then the performer blows up an airship style ballon through the tube so that as per the illustration, the balloon protrudes out the top and the bottom of them tube. Then the impossible happens. The two spikes are thrust back through the tube, but the balloon fails to bust! How on earth can the spikes be penetrating through the tube and balloon without the resounding pop! Indeed a few moments later, the performer pops the balloon and immediately shows the interior of the tube with the two spikes running through. This wonderful mystery was invented by the late Andre Kole (Robert J. Gurtler). Once made by the now defunct MAK Magic company, we only have a couple more in stock.
