The magician gets an unsuspecting volunteer from out of the audience, or he can use his own assistant. A neck stock and a sword is introduced. It is demonstrated how the sword can be pushed completely through the stock. The magicain removes the sword from the stock. He places the stock around the girl's neck and latches it in place. The magician then proceeds to push the sword right through the volunteer's neck! The audience can clearly see the sword entering the stock on one side and exiting out the other.
