The doctrine of the Trinity is foundational to the Christian faith. It is the Tertullian explanation of how God chooses to reveal Himself to man; as Father God, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The revelation helps Christians understand what God is like, how he relates to us, and how we should relate to him. 
 
In this same foundation however, it is important to understand that God is not “divided” so-to-speak, where part of Him is the Father, part of Him is the Son, and part of Him is the Holy Spirit. Rather God is one-hundred percent God as the Father, one-hundred percent God the Son, and one hundred percent God the Holy Spirit. Yep, it's hard for us to comprehend, and yes even impossible to fully understand, but it is one of the great mysteries of systematic theology and the revelation of God.
 
In explaining this essential understanding about God, the performer slides a regular playing card is slid into a small plastic frame. The card can be clearly seen in the frame through the holes in the front and back of the frame. The middle of the card is then “zig-zagged” out away from the top and bottom parts of the card to give the illusion that the card has been cut into three pieces! The middle of the card is then slid back into place and the card is then removed from the frame and is completely restored!
