In essence, the magician displays a plastic board that is approximately 11 X 17 inches, and about an eighth of an inch thick. The board has a hole through its middle, just big enough for the magician’s hand to fit through. After showing both sides of the board and demonstrating that the magician’s hands are empty, the performer inserts the right hand into the hole and produces a colorful rubber ball. Then when the magician puts the ball back through the hole, it completely disappears. This effect is repeated two or three times.
